KMO-Fleet is a spin out of the Camborne School of Mines and has been incorporated to implement research programmes into a commercial environment. KMO-Fleet has Innovate UK funding through the ICURe programme to drive the solution into the market.
Meet The Team
Matthew Eyre
Matthew has been a senior lecturer in mining engineering and has applied digital optimisation services in digital twinning of both surface and underground operations in a regional and global context. In his academic career he has been responsible in running and contributing to a wide range of industry focused research projects from a variety of funders.
Laura Carter-Greaves
Laura holds a MSc in Mining Engineering and has over 20 years’ experience in the field of real time software systems architecture and development. She was Lead Systems Architect for 10 years and consulted for a further 10 years in the development of bespoke automated systems
Declan Vogt
Declan is a lecturer in mining engineering and has 30 years in mining research, he has previously held senior positions in research institutions. He was the manager of the centre of mining innovation and director for the centre of mechanised mining systems.
